This series of fashion illustrations was created for Parafinn Magazine in 2006. Unfortunately the magazine never made it to print, but I really like the end result all the same. Photographer Tim Maher shot the looks chosen by stylist Teri Niitti, and these images were used as amazing reference material for the illustrations. The illustrations were chosen for the 2006 Vuoden Huiput year book (Best of the Year, Graphic Design), in the Young Creatives category.
I’ve done some editorial illustration work Trendi Magazine. The articles were about chemicals in makeup, and natural beauty.
I’ve done some illustration work for Finnair’s inflight magazine Blue Wings. I always read the inflight magazines whenever I’m travelling, and I have to say I really like the image that Blue Wings projects about Finland.
When I got married in 2007, my main responsibility was to create the invitations. We decided to do a whole set of matching invitations, menus and programs, with different illustrations for each. The exceptional print work was done by DMP.
The hang tags were created for a t-shirt company 9cm. They were selected into the 2005 Vuoden Huiput -year book (Best of the Year in Finnish graphic design) in the Young Creatives category.
